SHIPPING UK, EU & WORLDWIDE


THE UK

We offer FREE Shipping to all of our UK Customers, which means we send it back to you for no extra charge!   If your item has a value of over £50 then we recommend that you contact us and state what postal service you require, this will be charged. We would also mention that we will not be responsible for any parcels which have left our workshop and are en-route to their destination. We use Royal Mail for our delivery service, on very rare occasions do we use any other carriers. Please note, the postage to us is your responsibility this applies to returns also, we are unable to pay any postage for returned items this applies both ways unless it is in it's 7 day grace period to which postage is subsidised. If your parcel is lost or stolen it will be your responsibility to chase this up. We will however sign forms if required with regards to your claim. Any abuse of postage if items have been received by the customer will void their warranty and their account will be blocked from future usage of FMH. Please note the UK is no longer a member of the EU so Worldwide shipping now applies.


WORLDWIDE

We now offer subsidised shipping for Worldwide customers at £14.95 which is payable upon checkout of your chosen service. The cover for these postal services is set at the standard rate of £50 for higher insurance related quotes please email admin@fixmyheadphones.co.uk

Parcels are returned International Tracked or Signed For Delivery depending on the customers preference, so please make sure there is someone there to sign for and collect your parcel. If your item has a value of over £200 then we recommend that you contact us about insurance. COURIERS

On rare occasions we may choose to use different courier services such as Parcel Force, DHL, and UPS. If you are a customer from the US, your mail will most likely be Federal Express although sometimes we send via Royal Mail. All services are either Signed For or Tracked to their destination. We post only to the addressee that is registered in our website shop, however you can add another address in your account section. This stops confusion when dealing with orders and covers us for insurance purposes. We are afraid we cannot be held responsible for items that are either lost or stolen en-route, this is why we strongly advise that you take out our Insurance. Please contact us for this.

POSTAL INSURANCE

We would like to re-iterate how important it is to insure your item. Not only does this make sure you are covered for the full value of your item/s. It also ensures, that you have your item/s tracked right to your front door. If you do not take out insurance, you do so at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for courier errors, lost items, damaged items and so on. When you receive your parcel back, it is important to check the contents to make sure you have received your item back. Items that have been signed for, signify that you are happy with the contents of the parcel, and everything that should be there, is there. If you have signed for a parcel, and later find that the item is incorrect, it will be your responsiblity to contact the courier company to find our what has happened. Postal Insurance can be added in our online shop. So if you want piece of mind, then we suggest you use it before it heads off to it's destination. However we would like to add, that we have found it is very rare that parcels do go missing when the item is Signed For. It's your choice, we send everything back either signed for or tracked.


LOSSES

We will not be held responsible for any losses incurred via carriers or postal services. Unfortunately this is something we are unable to compensate for. For Worldwide services you are held as responsible for your item/s once they have left our premisis. You will also be responsible to chase up any couriers for your item/s. Some countries only track as far as their country once left the UK. Once it has left the UK the responsibility is yours and is fully out of our hands. This is why we cannot compensate outside of the UK. For UK deliveries we are able to help further on the issue of losses, although we cannot recover your item we can help by assisting with your claim for losses compensation form, this also applies to the Worldwide postal service.
